A Message from the Founder

My name is Christine Hines and I am the founder, president and broker of record for Northstar Mortgage Group, Inc., located in Calabasas, CA, 27 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles and 40 miles South of Ventura.

I am a native Californian, though with a Texas upbringing, raising a wonderful daughter, Maia, along with my husband Chris.

I attended a semester at Texas A&M university and completed my undergraduate degree in computer information systems and accounting at California State University, Northridge. For my MBA, I attended Loyola University in Westchester, CA.

During the following decade, I was a software trainer for Thomson Corporation, training Fortune 500 and accounting firms to use their research software and also obtained my broker's license. Shortly thereafter, I had a wonderful opportunity to manage a mortgage brokerage as their in house broker and Loan Officer. Our core expertise was to help home owners use their equity to manage their debt and financial well-being.

Northstar Mortgage Group represents the culmination of my experiences. Believing that there were more caring and efficient ways to help families utilize their real estate assets to their benefit, I founded the company in 2007 as a boutique-oriented mortgage broker, offering a full compliment of mortgage services to home buyers, home owners and real estate professionals, as well as providing positive benefits for referral partners and their clients who take part in our network.

This company will work most strongly because of it's TEAM, which includes employees of Northstar Mortgage Group and our referal partners.

The TEAM centers around our client's goals. We have defined this as our goal because we have the desire to enjoy the financial security of this achievement and the fulfillment of outstanding results. We will accomplish this through L.O.A.N.S...
